Commercial drywall in Sterling Ranch
Sterling Ranch is still building out: nine villages around a planned town center, more than 12,000 homes planned, two apartment communities open, and its first commercial building, Sterling Center, already running. We work with everyone who builds, owns or manages property here, from a single patch to a tenant finish. Use the business quote form or call.
Sterling Ranch: unincorporated Douglas County, still building
Sterling Ranch is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Douglas County, so Douglas County's Building Division is the building authority here, not a city. Construction began in early 2016. The plan calls for nine villages around a central town center and more than 12,000 homes, with about 40% of the land kept as open space and trails linking to Chatfield and Roxborough state parks.
Every home here dates from 2016 or later, well inside the 1980-or-later range we work in. Nine home builders are active, from production neighborhoods to custom homesites of more than two acres, where Level 5 smooth walls and custom-home finishes come in.
Sterling Center, the community's first commercial building, opened with a brewery, a coffee shop and an urgent care clinic. Two apartment communities are open, one in Prospect Village with 332 units and one on Waterton Road, and a third has been proposed for Ascent Village but isn't built yet. From C-470, take Santa Fe Drive (US-85) south about 4.2 miles to Titan Road and head west; Sterling Ranch addresses use the 80125 ZIP code. Text us a photo for a home repair, or send a business quote request for anything bigger.

Sterling Ranch drywall repair questions
Can Apex do commercial drywall in Sterling Ranch?
Yes. Our Douglas County Class A contractor license covers construction, alteration, tenant finish and repair of any type or size of building in unincorporated Douglas County, which includes Sterling Ranch. That means tenant finishes, office, retail, clinic and restaurant walls, and community buildings. See everything we do in unincorporated Douglas County, or use the business quote form or call.
Do you work with the builders in Sterling Ranch?
Yes. We handle punch lists and finish corrections for builders and general contractors, on your schedule. Send the list and some photos through the business quote form, or call.
Can you handle unit turns at Sterling Ranch apartment communities?
Yes. We take unit turns, move-out damage and larger repairs, scheduled around your residents. Property and maintenance managers can use the business quote form or call.
Is Sterling Ranch part of Littleton?
No. Sterling Ranch addresses use Littleton's 80125 ZIP code, which Roxborough shares, but the community is unincorporated Douglas County, outside any city. That's why our Douglas County license applies here.
Do you fix nail pops and cracks in newer Sterling Ranch homes?
Yes. Nail pops and hairline cracks at seams and corners are common in a home's first few years. If your builder still owes you a walkthrough, start there; after that, text us some photos and we'll text back a firm price, texture match included.
Do I need to be home for the repair?
Only if you want to be. You're free to stay, or to run your errands while the repair gets done. If you'd rather be out, leave a lockbox code or the door unlocked. You get a text when we're on the way, and when the repair is done, we clean up and, if you're out, lock up.
Why do you ask what year my home was built?
Homes built before 1980 are likely to contain asbestos in the wall texture or joint compound. We don't work on homes built with asbestos materials, so the year tells us whether we can take the job. Not sure of the year? Send the photos anyway and we'll check.
